Three Cases of Primary Malignant Lymphoma of the Ileocecal Region

Abstract
|
|
|
The malignant lymphomas of the intestinal tract are usually secondary and represent only on area in
a widely disseminated neoplasia of the lymphoreticular tissue. Primary lymphomas in the intestinal
tract are few in comparison and the diagnosis can ordinary be made only after the tumor has been
resected. Three cases of primary malignant lymphoma of the ileo-cecal region are presented. Of the
three cases, one manifested a adult fist sized abdominal mass with partial intestinal obstruction, the
other two complicated to intussusception by the tumor mass.
